SAVE THE OWL PROJECT
The Braccialini F/W 2007/2008 Collection is largely inspired by the "Royal Owl", that majestic tawny feathered bird of prey with piercing yellow gold eyes. Hunted in the past and today a protected species, it risks extinction.
Over the last hundred years the number of specimens has been reduced by two thirds.
Braccialini has taken this matter very much to heart and wants to contribute to the protection of this "Prince of the Night" not only by dedicating their most precious lines to his lighthearted image, but also with an important donation to the Mugello Bird of Prey Recovery Center.
In the lines inspired by this gracious bird of prey, we find a little owl with multicolored feathers; the jacquard line is characterized by this season's subject in warm metallic tones.
A patchwork of materials create the image of the rounded lines of an owl. Finally, a luxurious and elegant bag in printed cocco with an "animalier" style handle that comes together with two hand-lacquered overlapping owls.

NYC: BRACCIALINI & PARSON SCHOOL together for BOTTOMLESS CLOSET
Braccialini participated in a partnership with Parson School of Design for “Every Bag Tells a Story.” Women donated gently used bags along with a story to Braccialini and received a exclusive access card and discounts. The bags and the stories served as inspiration for a design contest at Parsons. All bags were ultimately donated toBottomless Closet to assist women returning to the workforce.
