Dichiarazione di accessibilità

Publication date: 27 April 2026

This statement applies to all language versions of the website (French, German, Spanish, and other available languages). The Italian version is the primary reference document.

1. Responsible party

Company name: Graziella Braccialini S.p.A.
Registered office: Via di Casellina 61/D, 50018 Scandicci (FI), Italy
VAT number: IT01388540518
Website: https://www.braccialini.it
Accessibility contact: accessibilita@braccialini.it

2. Regulatory framework

This website is subject to the provisions of EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree 82/2025, applicable to private economic operators providing e-commerce services from 28 June 2025.

The technical standard of reference is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, as indicated by the harmonised standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1.

3. Compliance status

The website www.braccialini.it is PARTIALLY COMPLIANT with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Partial compliance is due to the non-conformities and exceptions listed in section 4. The remediation process is ongoing and issues are being resolved progressively with each site update.

4. Non-accessible content
4.1 Technical non-conformities being resolved
  • Insufficient contrast (WCAG 1.4.3): some text elements, labels and interface components have a contrast ratio below the minimum required of 4.5:1. The issue is being progressively corrected during graphic updates of the pages.
  • Heading structure (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6): some pages lack a first-level heading (H1) or have skipped heading levels in the hierarchy. Correction planned in upcoming updates.
  • Layout tables (WCAG 1.3.1): some tables are used for layout purposes rather than to present structured data. Correction in progress.
  • Very small text (WCAG 1.4.4): some text elements are smaller than the recommended size. Under graphic review.
  • Link to PDF document (WCAG 1.1.1, 4.1.2): at least one link to a PDF document whose full accessibility has not yet been verified is present. Verification in progress.
4.2 Non-conformities due to third-party components
  • Modal close button without accessible label (WCAG 4.1.2): the close button automatically generated by the iziModal library does not include an aria-label attribute. This component is third-party and does not allow direct intervention on the generated HTML. A solution via post-render JavaScript is being evaluated.
  • Google reCAPTCHA widget (WCAG 1.1.1, 2.1.1): the widget includes a hidden textarea field (g-recaptcha-response) without an accessible label. This element is generated and managed entirely by Google and cannot be modified by the site operator.
4.3 Accepted exceptions with technical justification
  • Anti-spam honeypot field (WCAG 1.3.1): the site's forms include a text field hidden visually via CSS, used as an anti-spam protection mechanism. The field is intentionally left without a label to prevent detection by users, including those using assistive technologies. Modifying it would compromise the effectiveness of the anti-spam protection. This non-conformity is documented as a justified technical exception based on security requirements.
5. Accessible alternatives

7. Assessment method

The accessibility assessment was conducted through a combined approach including:

  • Automated analysis using the WAVE tool (WebAIM Wave Evaluation Tool) on a representative sample of site pages, covering the main templates: homepage, product listing pages, product detail pages, cart page, checkout pages, registration and login pages, informational and institutional pages.
  • Manual review of HTML code and ARIA attributes on all major interactive components: contact, registration, checkout and address forms; main navigation menu with submenus; modal and cart drawer components; product data tables; list and navigation elements.
  • Keyboard navigation testing (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys, Escape) on the critical purchase journey from homepage through to order confirmation, verifying reachability of all interactive elements, focus visibility and correct focus trap management in overlay components.
  • Verification of semantic page structure: heading hierarchy, navigation landmarks (nav, main, header, footer), ARIA roles and aria-label, aria-labelledby, aria-describedby, aria-live attributes.
  • Verification of alternative texts on images, icons and links without visible text, with particular attention to dynamically generated product images.
  • Verification of the behaviour of dynamic components (cart, modals, expandable menus) in terms of announcements to screen readers via aria-live and focus management on opening and closing.

The assessment applied WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the reference criterion. Pages tested include a representative sample of all major site templates and cover the most critical user flows.

Assessment date: 27 April 2026
Next planned review: 27 April 2027
